Otrivin Plus Nasal Spray contains the active ingredients xylometazoline hydrochloride 70 micrograms/spray (0.5 mg/mL) and ipratropium bromide 84 micrograms/spray (0.6 mg/mL). Xylometazoline hydrochloride helps to open up and clear nasal passages by reducing swollen blood vessels. Ipratropium bromide reduces mucus production. Otrivin Plus Nasal Spray provides relief of a blocked and runny nose caused by colds, hay fever or other allergic rhinitis.

Adults 18 years and over: 1 spray in each nostril as needed up to 3 times daily. Do not use more often than every 6 hours. Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Use the smallest dose you need to treat your symptoms and use it for the shortest time needed to achieve desired effect.
1. To avoid possible spread of infection, the spray should only be used by one person.
2. Clear your nose
3. Remove protective cap.
4. Before using for the first time, prime the pump by actuation 4 times. If the product has not been used for longer than 7 days, the pump will need to be reprimed with 4 actuations. If the full spray is not administered, the dose should not be repeated. Be careful not to spray in the eyes or mouth.
5. Hold bottle upright with thumb under base and nozzle between two fingers.
6. Lean forward slightly and insert the nozzle into the nostril. Spray and breathe in gently through the nose at the same time.
7. Repeat with the other nostril.
8. Clean and dry the nozzle before replacing back cap right after use.

Do not use Otrivin Plus:
- If under 18 years.
- If you are allergic to Xylometazoline, Ipratropium or any other ingredients of this medicine.
- After recent operations through the nose or mouth. .
- If you have inflammatory nasal dryness.
-If you are allergic to atropine or similar substances such as hyoscyamine and scopolamine.
- If you have narrow angle glaucoma.
- If you are pregnant.
- If irritation occurs, or if you have signs of allergy, discontinue use.
Ask your doctor or pharmacist before use:
- If you breast feeding.
- If you have any other medical conditions.
- If you are taking other medicines.
- If you suffer from high blood pressure.
- If you suffer from heart disease.
- If you have an overactive thyroid.
- If you have diabetes.
- If you have phaeochromocytoma.
- If you have an enlarged prostate gland.
- If you have problems urinating.
- If you have cystic fibrosis.
- If you are taking or have taken anti-depressants in the past 2 weeks.

Warnings & cautions
· If congestion persists for more than 3 days, seek medical advice
· Do not use for more than 3 days unless advised by a pharmacist or doctor
· Each pack should be used by only one person, for reasons of hygiene
- If you use too much or in case of accidental ingestion, contact your doctor or pharmacist immediately.
- Frequent or prolonged use may cause nasal congestion to recur or worsen.
- Stop using this product and seek immediate medical attention if you experience sudden severe headache.
